On this Memorial Day, I ran a 5K with the goal of finishing in under 28:00, which would be a personal record.
I aced it and finished in 26:54 by my watch.

That's cool but I'm anxious to see how the BP fiasco is the fault of the liberal media and/or Barack Hussein Obama.
I heard the BP fiasco is the result of environmentalists who have succeeded in getting off-shore oil rigs as far away from the shoreline as possible. So, when something goes wrong, it's harder to fix. That's just conjecture though.
Nonetheless, it is BHO's fault. The media has drilled (intended pun) into our heads that anything any everything that goes wrong is the President's fault. And, it's a fine job the government is doing on this one, too I can't wait to see how they bungle health care. This administration is the most inept I have seen in my lifetime and makes the Jimmy Carter administration look like epitome of competence and efficiency.
It's a tragic motif of our country's history that keeps playing itself out again and again: wimpy, liberal pansies somehow manage to bully the real winners of this land into submission. You'd think such rugged individualists who are constantly bragging about their self-sufficiency would be able to undermine their weak pussy opponents somehow through their superior intellect, charisma, and intestinal fortitude. But it is not so. So they do what they accuse their enemies of and start whinging like utter babies.
Of course it's the environmentalists' fault that shallow water coastal ecosystems are vital for circulating trace minerals we all need just to live, much less enjoy a cottage cheese-thighed Humvee-driving consumerist lifestyle. And poor embattled BP, forced not to take a dump on this unquestionably vital organ of our biosphere, took every reasonable precaution against this disaster while drilling out in deeper waters. I've never seen a person (for corporations are persons too) more deserving of our sympathy. I sent a care package to BP as soon as I found out those mean ole liberals were on their case: a dozen each of bottles of Johnson & Johnson No Tears Baby Shampoo and packages of maximum absorbency Tampax. I hope that you too will render your duty for Free Market Capitalism™ as I have.
